Hello Orbsters,

I thought that it was about time that we outlined some more of our plans for the future, starting first with what we are planning for Halloween.

On the 22nd of October we will be putting in place our Halloween release. Some of the game on the site are getting a Halloween make over, some more drastic than other. I’m not telling you which games you’ll have to find that out for yourselves. The games will have a Halloween theme to them and will also have a Halloween achievement to do with that theme. These achievements will only be available for the 2 weeks from the 22nd of October. On the 5th of November, the games will change back and the achievements will no longer be available (at least not until Halloween next year). So make sure that you check out the service over this period and try to collect them all.

We’ll also be putting another multiplayer game live on the site on the 22nd. It’s a game that has similarities to the way Brick a Brac works its multi-player experience, its fast, fun and what you do affects the players around you.

On the 5th we have a real treat for you. I’m not going to say too much about this one except that the game has lots of items to research and collect and that the strap line for the game is “Fight of the Living Dead”. You can work the rest out for yourselves.

For the rest of the year, we have the return of a Jagex classic, not for those afraid of heights, a strategy game based on the RuneScape world and a sporting game of all things; all of which will have multiplayer as a game mode.

As for next year well the production team are working themselves into a frenzy with some of the plans we have. Pirate Lords of course, another game similar to Dungeon Assault (at least in its perpetual nature) and a great fun game involving a fridge.
